White and Yellow Marking on Road

Roads are most used transport system worldwide. While travelling through highways or road we see white and yellow markings on roads. few of them are broken and few are Solid continuous. these all markings having some specific objective and meaning as per traffic rules. these are as 1) Solid White Line  Solid White Line It Means do not change the lane. stay in the your lane. Generally it is used for one way traffic.   2) Broken White Line  It means you can change your lane if it is safe. Broken white Line  3) Solid Yellow Line Mostly used for Two way traffic.   It means that stay in the lane. You may overtake the other vehicles but without crossing the yellow line. No passing is allowed. Solid Yellow Line 4) Broken Yellow Line  It means you can change the lane on two way traffic roads when it is safe. Broken Yellow Line 5) Doubled Yellow Line No any passing and overtake is allowed.
